MTS Software for RxMap - Interfaced System

RxMap ® multi-med software interfaces with your pharmacy system and creates a seamless multi-med packaging solution. Pharmacies are no longer required to enter data twice, therefore increasing productivity and accuracy. RxMap software utilizes bar codes for medication verification, tracking and logging . The software provides an inventory pick list to help with the packaging of prescription batches. Interfaced to your pharmacy operating system, RxMap software provides you the ability to automatically print foil lidding stock with the prescription information required for perforated RxMap packages.

1.  Flexible - Package and Label multiple styles and sizes of RxMap Packaging

Simply select the appropriate package for a patient or facility. Then select the cycle range for a patient. RxMap will then manage the scheduling and filling of the RxMap adherence package.

 2.  Scheduling Your Packaging

The software will provide you with a schedule for your packaging. This schedule is populated via the interface with your pharmacy system. Just select the day of the week, and all of the patients and prescriptions for RxMap that are due on that day will appear. RxMap can produce a list of all the medications that are needed to complete a patient or a batch of patients.

 3. Individually Labeled ‘Containers'

For Perforated RxMap packages you can print the required prescription information on the foil lidding stock. This is done prior to the final assembly of the RxMap package. The information for the foil is pulled from the interface and can show the patient name, date, day of the week, time of day and a description of the medication contained within an individual blister ‘container'. The exact layout and fields are defined by the pharmacy to fit their own customer and regulatory needs.

4. Consolidated Labeling

The ‘Book Style' design of RxMap packaging provides the ideal space and location to clearly label multiple prescriptions. RxMap Software allows the pharmacy to print multiple prescriptions on a single consolidated label. This provides clear and easy to read information directly opposite the contents of the package. A consolidated label also saves the pharmacy time and money

5. Bar Code Verification

RxMap controls the filling process with Bar Code verification. Once a patient is selected, all of the prescriptions that are due for that patient and card are displayed. Select a medication and then scan the NDC number on the bottle to verify ‘right drug'. RxMap will confirm and then display a visual grid on how to fill the card.
Each RxMap package is bar coded giving it a unique finger print. At any point in time after dispensing this bar code can be scanned and the exact contents of that card, including patient info, lot numbers and expiration dates of medication, can be reviewed.
