Microfil's modular design allows you to customize a system that is right for your pharmacy. Microfil is comprised of eight modules:

Some of these modules can be modified to suitthe needs of your pharmacy. The vial feeder and unload lanes can be modified for different size vials from multiple manufacturers, and the medication hopper storage module can be reconfigured to hold 107, 219 or 363 medications. Plus, right-to-left and left-to-right work flows are possible.

With Microfil, you choose the configuration that is right for your pharmacy, which makes this system great for low- and high-volume pharmacies, alike.

Automation that fits your workflow

Microfil helps with your pharmacy's workflow by handling more than just vial filling. The user-friendly software groups together all scripts for each patient. Plus, the system performs a quality control action by scanning medication bar codes 3 times throughout the entire process. Certain functions can be easily disabled if other workflow software is in use.

Other workflow efficiencies include bulk vial loading and the replenishment of medication while the system continues to fill scripts. To load vials, they are simply dumped from their bulk container directly into the Microfil bin, and the module automatically organizes and prepares them to be labeled and filled.
